LVD Test Standards

Regulation on Electrical Equipment Designed for Specific Voltage Limits in 2014 by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology in our country based on the new Low Voltage Directive (LVD), 35 / 2016 / EU published in the European Union (2014 / 35 / AB) It has been published.

The main test standards to be considered in accordance with this regulation are:

  • TS EN 60204-1 Safety in machines - Electrical equipment for machines - Part 1: General rules

This standard covers electrical, electronic and programmable electronic devices and systems for machines that cannot be transported manually.

  • TS EN 61010-1 Safety rules for measurement, control and electrical equipment used in the laboratory - Part 1: General rules

This standard covers the testing conditions of the devices integrated into the production processes and the devices that have been manufactured.

  • TS EN 62031 LED modules for general lighting - Safety features

This standard covers the general conditions for light emitting diode (LED) modules and safety related features.

  • TS EN 60950-1 Information technology equipment - Safety - Part 1: General rules

This standard covers electrical appliances and equipment, which are below the rated voltage 600 Volt, and information technology devices supplied by the battery or mains.

  • TS EN 60335-1 Safety rules - For household and similar electrical appliances - Section 1: General rules

This standard covers the safety rules of electrical appliances used in households and workplaces, operating at the rated voltage of the 250 Volt in one phase and in the remaining voltage of the 480 Volt in others.

  • TS EN 60065 Audio, video and similar electronic devices - Safety rules

This standard is the standard used in the design of electronic devices that enable the reception, recording and reproduction of audio, video, video and related signals from networks or power sources.

  • TS EN 62040-1 Uninterruptible power systems (KGS) - Part 1: General rules and safety rules for KGS

This standard covers UPS installation conditions for moving, stationary, fixed and low voltage distribution systems installed inside the building.

  • TS EN 60601-1 Electrical and medical equipment - Part 1: General requirements for basic safety and performance

This standard covers the basic safety and performance requirements of electrical medical devices and electrical systems.
