Tow trucks are motor vehicles which are produced for the purpose of towing trailers and semi-trailers and do not carry any cargo themselves. A number of towing vehicles are also used for towing road vehicles that have failed and cannot move on their own to a workshop or workshop or a suitable parking space. In this sense, tow trucks are used to transport the vehicles that are in contradiction with the traffic rules and to transport them to a parking area. Another group of towing vehicles is being used in agricultural areas to tow some agricultural vehicles and equipment.

As a result, the tractors are motor vehicles, regardless of their purpose, and regular checks and inspections are required for the safe use of construction machinery within the prescribed periods and methods.

The Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment covers the minimum requirements for the health and safety of work machines and equipment used in the workplace. The annexes to these regulations, which are prepared on the basis of the European Union directive 2009 / 104 / EC, contain details.

Accordingly, regular inspections of machines and equipment whose regular control interval and criteria are not described in the relevant standards should be carried out firstly within the intervals and criteria stipulated by the manufacturer. However, if there is no criterion determined by the manufacturer, a risk assessment should be made by taking into consideration a number of factors such as regular inspections of work machines and equipment, workplace conditions, duration of use and frequency of use, and control and inspection procedures should be carried out at such intervals. However, the regular inspection interval to be determined in each case should not exceed one year with the exception of exceptions.
