The Ministry of Labor and Social Security issued the Regulation on Health and Safety in the Use of Work Equipment in 2013 to demonstrate the minimum health and safety requirements for the use of machinery and equipment in various workplaces.

In the annex of this regulation titled Minimum Requirements to be found in Work Equipment (Annex 1), employers are obliged to install fire extinguishing systems in the environment in which the equipment which is in danger of fire may be affected by the employees or the equipment carried by the towers. If there are no fire extinguishing systems in the facility, at least these machines and equipment must have adequate fire extinguishing devices.

In the annex of Maintenance, Repair and Periodic Inspections (Annex 3) of the same regulation, the regular inspection periods of the installations in operation and the control criteria and related standards to be taken into account in these inspections are given. In this context, the following principles have been determined regarding fire installation:

• Fire hoses and hoses, motopumps and piping must be inspected and inspected at least once a year unless a specific period is specified in the standards. These checks are primarily carried out to determine whether the installation meets the criteria shown in the project. In addition, it is taken into consideration whether it meets the criteria of the following standards published by domestic and foreign organizations:
• TS 9811 Fire extinguishers - Medium and high expansion foam systems - Maintenance and inspection
• TS EN 671-3 Fixed fire extinguishing systems - Hose systems - Part 3: Maintenance of semi-rigid hose reels and flat hose systems
• TS EN 12416-1 + A2 Stationary fire extinguishing systems - Powder systems - Part 1: Component properties and test methods
• TS EN 12845 Fixed fire extinguishing systems - Automatic sprinkler systems - Design, installation and maintenance
• Fire extinguishing equipment TS ISO 11602-2 standard should be checked and examined for the periods described.
• TSE ISO / TS 11602-2 Fire protection - Portable and mobile fire extinguishers - Part 2: Inspection and maintenance
