It is a legal obligation to carry out electrical installation controls together with earthing and lightning conductor checks in maximum one year periods according to the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment published by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. These controls are carried out to determine whether the electrical installation provides occupational health and safety. Electrical installation checks should be carried out not only on the first day of installation of the system, but on a yearly basis as required by the mentioned regulation.

In these controls, energy rooms, cable shafts, meters and distribution panels, junction boxes, sockets and lightings are examined one by one and whether the installation complies with the relevant standards and regulations is investigated.

One of the most important points in electrical installation controls is electrical panels. Particular emphasis is given to the following:

Detection of all equipment such as fuses, switches, residual current relays (or residual current protection devices), mains sockets and UPS sockets

Leakage current relay tests (tripping current and tripping time are determined in this study)

Control of cables and measurement of current carrying capacity

      Connection controls of conductors

Control how the panels are protected against external non-electrical effects

Control of cables in panels and fuse boxes against mechanical effects and high temperatures

Single line diagram and detailed description control

Check if there are electrical danger and warning signs that should be on the panels

Checking the labeling of equipment such as switches, fuses and residual current relays

Check whether the cables are suitable for color coding in panel and fuse boxes

Grounding and control of neutral busbars

Checking whether the grounding conductor is transported continuously to the end-user points

During electrical panel tests, electrical measurements such as voltage drop measurements, grounding measurements, loop impedance measurements and insulation resistance measurements are also performed. Modern technological devices are used in these studies.

Our company within the framework of electrical safety examinationsconducts the tests of electrical panels in accordance with the relevant regulations, standards and test methods published by domestic and foreign institutions. In this regard, our company, the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK), Accredited according to TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard.
