Hot Water Boiler Periodic Control and Inspection

Efficient use of energy resources is a common problem not only in our country but also in the whole world. The ever-worsening depletion of natural resources worries people and forces them to seek measures. Orientation to renewable energy sources and the attempt to use existing resources in the most efficient way are the result of these concerns.

In order to use energy efficiently, to prevent wasting, to reduce the burden of energy costs on the economy and of course to protect nature, to increase efficiency in the use of energy resources and energy. The Energy Efficiency Law was enacted by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in 2007. This law and the regulations issued on the basis of this law, It is envisaged that the central system will be used in the heating of the areas over 2 thousand square meters in size. In this way, the independent sections are prevented from generating heat on their own.

In the central system, superheated water boiler and expansion tank are used and the heat produced is carried by superheated water or steam over 110 degree. In order to keep the heated water at a certain temperature, the whole system must be kept under a certain pressure continuously. If the pressure is supplied by steam, the pressure in these systems is not too high to ensure safety. Therefore, an expansion vessel is used. The expansion vessel both receives the expansion and acts as a pressure center.

Steam boilers are used not only in heating systems but also in different tasks for various purposes in industry. However, for whatever purpose they are established, their organizations and operations must be carried out in accordance with the rules and regular inspections and inspections must be carried out for their safe operation.

Our company carries out periodic inspections and inspections of hot water boilers within the scope of regular controls of pressure vessels in accordance with the relevant legal regulations and standards published by domestic and foreign organizations. A few standards considered in these studies are:

  • TS EN 12952-6 Water tube boilers and auxiliary installations - Part 6: Inspection during manufacture, documentation and marking of pressure-exposed parts.
  • TS 497 Boilers - Steel (welded)
  • TS EN 12953-2 Cylindrical boilers - Part 2: Materials for pressure-sensitive parts and boilers of boilers
  • TS 377-5 EN 12953-5 Cylindrical boilers - Part 5: Inspection during the manufacture, documentation and marking of pressurized parts of boilers
