Safety Valve Inspection and Inspection

In order to protect the systems designed for different fluids and a certain pressure in case of any problem, the valves that provide the controlled discharge of the fluids such as steam, liquid or gas when the pressure rises above a certain limit are called safety valve or safety valve. . This is the most important safety rule for pressure vessels.

If the system pressure rises above the pressure value for which the safety valve is set, a certain amount of steam, gas or liquid in the system is discharged from the system through the safety valve. In this way, the system is protected against unauthorized pressure surges.

Occasionally, the system must be evacuated using safety valves or safety valves. This ensures that the safety valve is operating correctly. Wastes can accumulate in safety valves that have not been used for a long period of time, and the valve may not operate as soon as it should be used.

All pressure systems and hydraulic circuits must have a safety valve. Safety valve is important for the safety of the system and human health. When the pressure in the system increases for any reason, the safety valve protects the system from high pressure by turning the increased pressure under control. When installing safety valves, they should generally be set to more than 15 percent of the system pressure. There are no indicators on the pressure relief valves. A pressure gauge is also required to adjust the desired pressure level.

Safety valves are covered by pressure vessels and installations in accordance with the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment and must be inspected by authorized persons and organizations at least once a year.

Our company conducts periodical inspections and inspections of safety valves within the scope of regular controls of pressure vessels in accordance with the relevant legal regulations and standards published by domestic and foreign organizations. These standards are based on a few standards:

  • TS ISO 6264 Hydraulic fluid power - Pressure relief valves - Coupling surfaces
  • TS ISO 6263 Hydraulic fluid power - Pressure compensating flow control valves - Coupling surfaces
  • TS ISO 10770-2 Hydraulic fluid power - Electrical modulating hydraulic control valves - Part 2: Test methods for three-way directional control valves
  • TS 579 Valves and fittings (for radiators)
