Boiler Periodic Inspection and Inspection

Boilers are devices that allow the storage of water from different heat sources such as steam boiler, hot water boiler, solar collector, electric heaters or heat pump and can be used whenever needed. Depending on the structural characteristics of the boilers, they are produced in various types including serpentine boiler (copper pipe or steel pipe), electric boiler, classic type boiler (walled), fast boiler, combi boiler or jacketed boiler.

In hotels, villas, cafes, restaurants, hospitals, sports halls, construction sites and facilities that require hot water in general, single and double serpentine boilers are preferred. They are usually connected to a boiler, hot water or solar collector. In such boilers, the inner surfaces of the metal tanks are covered with a glassy material called enamel.

Fast boilers are generally small in volume and are used in places with short periods of time and a small amount of hot water. In recent years, the demand for fast boilers has been increasing in the world and in our country and it is seeing more demand. Known conventional type boilers are no longer preferred because they provide hot water over a longer period of time and also take up more space. In addition, conventional boilers are not hygienic. In recent years, as the use of solar energy has increased, especially in hot areas, solar boiler and more hygienic hot water boiler boilers are preferred.

A certain degree of constant temperature water is required in the supply of the boiler. It is therefore possible to use a separate boiler or to allow the building to use the central heating boiler.

However, the safe and efficient operation of the boilers depends on the proper operation of the installation, the correct use of the boiler, and the omission of regular inspections and inspections.

Our company conducts regular inspections and inspections of boilers within the scope of regular controls of pressure vessels in accordance with the relevant legal regulations and standards published by domestic and foreign organizations. A few standards considered in these studies are:

  • TS 2025 Steam boilers operation - General rules of inspection and maintenance
  • TS EN 13445-5 Pressure receptacles - Non-contact - Section 5: Inspection and testing
  • TS EN 12952-6 Water tube boilers and auxiliary installations - Part 6: Inspection during manufacture, documentation and marking of pressure-exposed parts.
