Flue Gas Measurements

Emission measurements include the measurement of exhaust gases, which are formed in various ways and are generally released into the air through the chimney. The Regulation on the Control of Industrial Air Pollution, issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization in 2009, has legally imposed emission limits on industrial facilities in this regard and all facilities must keep their emissions under control in order to stay within these limits. In addition, depending on the area of activity and size of the atmosphere must declare pollutant properties. The validity period of the emission measurement reports carried out in the authorized laboratories is two years.

This regulation was adopted in order to control emissions in the form of soot, smoke, gas, steam, dust and aerosol released to the air as a result of the activities carried out in various industrial and energy production facilities and to prevent pollution that threatens human health and the protection of nature.

Flue gas analysis of the central heating and furnace systems in residential and industrial facilities is carried out on values such as oxygen, carbon monoxide (CO) and temperature. In fact, the flue gas measurements made cover a wide range of measurements. Main measurements include:

  • Measurement of combustion gases emissions (oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbo dioxide, ksulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide and nitrogen dioxide)
  • Particle (powder) measurement by gravimetric method
  • Measurement of total volatile organic gas (VOC) emissions
  • Determination of mass flow rate of gases and powders
  • Measurement of soot by color comparison
  • Flue gas temperature measurements
  • Determination of moisture value in flue gas
  • Heavy metal measurements
  • Measurement of dioxin and furan
  • Formaldehyde measurement
  • Cyanide sampling
  • Sulfuric acid sampling
  • Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) sampling
  • Determination of combustion efficiency in the process

YVarious flue gas measurements are made in effective laboratories. In this context Our company also performs flue gas measurements within the scope of gas measurements. In these studies In accordance with the relevant legal regulations, standards and test methods published by domestic and foreign organizations.

In the meantime, our organization, ÖSAS Accreditation Agency, It is accredited according to TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard and the tests, measurement, analysis, inspection and inspection procedures and reports are accepted as valid in private and official audits.
